Youth and Education through Counselling and Mentorship

During childhood, we guide, guard, teach and raise them. Mentorship is when a child has graduated childhood and becomes a youth, you no longer teach, raise, guard and teach – you Mentor them

This example is not limited to childhood and youthful hood, even at later ages we mentor each other because mentorship is creating different perspectives from experiences to enhance growth, transformations and intentional directions towards the future

“I turned my journey into a bridge, so others don’t have to walk alone.” I am Mentee for organizations, groups, associations and private individuals – both young and old in every aspects of life – Germany, Africa, Europe and Diaspora!

Across Africa, many young people are losing hope in themselves and in the future of the continent. In search of better opportunities, some are driven to dangerous and often deadly migration pathways. At the same time, African youth in the diaspora face their own challenges, navigating identity, career paths, and belonging in complex environments. That’s the challenges, as mentee we equip them with mindset knowledge and education needed to understand how to take pride in being African and be a part of the Africa’s wealth

AfrikAktiv e.V Germany is partnering with many organizations among others with the PLO Foundation in Africa. This experience taught me that mentorship is not a privilege, it is a necessity. I have seen firsthand how hungry our youth are for guidance, knowledge, and direction. When we invest in mentorship, we are not just shaping individuals, we are shaping the future of Africa.”
