This is the same spirit driving AfrikAktiv e.V. as we prepare for the 26th Edition of the Afrika Festival Tübingen 2026 – a new beginning built on resilience, unity, culture, and shared responsibility.
Under our new festival concept inspired by the Ubuntu philosophy “I am because we are” we believe culture and community must remain accessible to everyone, especially during difficult times.
For this reason, AfrikAktiv is launching the Campaign 2026 initiative to help keep entry to the Afrika Festival Tübingen free for all visitors, while encouraging voluntary solidarity donations as little as from €2 and above at the festival gate.
Our goal is simple:
To ensure that families, youth, children, elders, students, migrants, African descendants, and friends of Africa can continue experiencing culture, education, dialogue, healing, music, and community together regardless of economic background.
In addition, we have created new opportunities for supporters around the world to contribute to the growth of AfrikAktiv and the Afrika Festival Tübingen — whether attending physically or not.
