The International AfrikaFestival Tübingen is an open-air cultural festival that brings Africa, Germany and the world together. Since 2007, it has celebrated African culture through live music, dance, food, fashion, exhibitions, family activities and community programmes. Organised by AfrikAktiv e.V., the festival welcomes people of all backgrounds to connect, celebrate and build bridges in the spirit of Ubuntu.

Main Activties are Live African music and dance, African food and drinks, Fashion, arts and cultural exhibitions, Africa Market Expo, Children and family activities, Workshops, forums and networking,  Parade, Intercultural church ceremony and gospel celebration. 

Participation is open to everyone – Organizations, Groups, Associations, Community initiatives with focus on Africa. 2026 registration is closed, interested may apply for 2027.
